I’m a big fan of bold, sparkly, and colorful holiday styles. I think the holiday season is perfectly complemented by the shiny embellishments, luxe colors, and the occasional kitschy print!
While I love this about the holidays, it can be tough to find just what you’re looking for when it comes to plus-sized fashion and affordable holiday pieces!
I’m sharing some of my fave plus-sized finds, and you’ll see the majority of these retailers also have straight sizes too! Something for everyone!
Don’t forget to shop with Ebates.com to get FREE cash back on purchases at some of these retailers-they list all the most recent and active promo codes, too! Use my link to get a FREE $10 gift card of your choice when you sign up!
As a former Torrid employee, I have a spot in my heart reserved for the brand that really paved the way for trendy plus-sized clothing! Ranging from size 10-30 (which is super inclusive!), they have some downright dope styles this holiday…so many that I had to be super selective in what I actually bought this year, which was more difficult than anything. Sizing can be all over the place, so its worth hitting up your nearest store and trying things on- I range from a size 0 (12) to 2 (16-18) depending on what type of item and how its cut!
Prices listed are the regular price, but as of the publishing of this post, all items are currently 30% off or 40% off of 4 items or more with code “4FOR40.” If you’re a frequent Torrid shopper, you may have also gotten the $15 off every $50 coupon with the latest mailer. Also, I’m a member of this amazing Facebook Group full of Torrid lovers, and if there’s a discount, they have it there!
Special Occasion Black Sequin Skater Dress $98.90 (theres a version of this with 3/4 sleeves on the site, too)!
Lane Bryant is one of those stores where it feels like you can’t shop there, because its for Moms. But its NOT for Moms, and they have a ton of super cute items (especially if you’re addicted to undergarments like I am), and so many trendy party styles for the modest to the party girl! Ranging from Size 12-28, its another pretty inclusive brand with a good bang for your buck when you can catch a deal! They take really fun things like sequins, fur, or animal print and pair them with sophisticated silhouettes that make for great office-appropriate looks! I’m OBSESSED with their sequin jacket this season!
Same story: I’m listing regular price for the item, but there’s ALWAYS a promo code on Ebates or if you sign up for the Lane Bryant email list. My last order arrived in the mail with a coupon for 50% off any one item!
Fashion Nova Curve
I know what you’re thinking….it’s either “YES! Fashion Nova changed the game for me!” or “Wait, people actually order from Fashion Nova?”
It’s true, y’all. I’ve ordered several items from the site now, and I can tell you: they’re affordable, decent quality, and they have something for every current trend on the market (still irritated Cardi B’s collab with them wasn’t available in extended sizes, but I guess we can’t have it all, now can we?)! From XS to 3X, its one of the more inclusive brands and I love that most items on the site showcase a straight AND plus model wearing them!
This is a great resource for special occasion looks under $100. Pro Tip? Size up and get it altered to look like it was custom made for you, like I did with this dress people went nuts over from my Mexico trip earlier this year:
You can use this link to get 30% off your purchase on the site, and maybe get your hands on something festive and affordable!
A brand I’ve had my eye on for awhile, I just recently purchased my New Years Eve Dress from Simply Be, and it’s a stunner-check out the first link….plus they currently have 30% off jackets and coats with code “SAVEME30” (they pretty much always have some type of sale), AND 4% cash back with Ebates!
With sizes 8-28, this is another brand looking out for almost all the ladies- they even did a collaboration with Ashley Graham recently!A
Fashion to Figure
Another brand that is newer on my radar, but giving me life! Currently, they’re offering 30% off all dresses, and all jeans are $29.99, plus 50% off all full-price outerwear and jackets!
Fashion to Figure or FTF as they’re known on social media, is a subsidiary of New York and Co, and they really bring it with affordable plus sized options that are on-trend and well fitting!
Again, sizes vary, so refer to size charts…but I’ve been pleased with all my items from them! They recently did a collaboration with Danielle Brooks (aka Tastee from OITNB) and the party pieces are perfection!
As you can see, there are deals a-plenty!
