I always look forward to this time of year!
People are generally in brighter spirits, things look more festive all over the city, and retailers bring allll the glitz and glam out!
This year, I was compelled to put together some of my favorite looks, and interestingly enough, the most affordable and fun looks kept popping up on one of my favorite sites, Fashion to Figure!
I’ll be sharing a new look every day on Instagram, from today until Christmas!!
Day 1 is serving up major dinner party hostess vibes in the FTF “Lizzie Sequin Blazer Dress!“
I really love the gold button details (yes, they actually unbutton), and the dress is fully lined, so you don’t have to worry about any itchy-scratchy feels!
There are small shoulder pads for structure, and they’re totally necessary, especially to provide some balance for my bigger-busted ladies!
A sister company (and the exclusive plus size division) of New York and Company, Fashion to Figure is constantly serving up trendy and affordable fashion for full-figured women, and this year they really brought the heat with collabs from influencers like Nadia and celebs like Gabrielle Union.
I didn’t mean for almost all of my favorite holiday looks to come from FTF, but it just kinda happened that way! I don’t make any money from them for sharing, but I hope you’ll maybe be inspired by some of these looks for your own holiday festivities….or even to keep the glitz coming in 2020!
Currently, Fashion to Figure is offering 30% off all new styles with code “FTFNEW,” 60% off their Sale Section, and they often offer $10 off your purchase of $50 or more for new customers if you sign up with your email address!
You can come here to find the links, and a photo or two of each look!
If you grab any of these pieces, make sure you tag #curvesandacarryon, #hotgirlholidays, and #justpostthefuckingphoto on Instagram so I can see how you styled it, and share it in my stories!
Shout out to my friend Jen for letting us shoot some of these looks in her insanely beautiful home, with all of her special holiday decor touches!
Major shout out to my girl, Megan for her phenomenal photography skills and vision, helping me make this shoot come to life in the cutest way!! She’s also a social media and brand strategy expert, so make sure you contact her if you’re looking to elevate your brand!
So, RSVP for that dinner party, and get to glammin’, because now you don’t have ANY excuses!
What are your favorite ways to dress up for the holidays? Embellishments? Glitter? Bright colors? Tell me how you keep it festive in the comments
